Baby Rescued from Kidnappers in Nasarawa, Two Arrested

Aisha Bada, a 19-year-old mother, reported that her 3-day-old baby was kidnapped in Nasarawa when two unidentified men broke into her room while she was asleep. The incident occurred on April 3, 2026, around 4:00 AM.

The men threatened her with violence, grabbed the baby, and fled. Aisha struggled to raise the alarm, but her husband was away at the time.

Chief Abubakar Yusuf, a community leader, confirmed the abduction, and the police were notified. Ramhan Nansel, the public relations officer of the Nasarawa Police Command, announced the successful rescue of the baby and the arrest of two suspects, Abdulrahman (35) and Sadiya Abdullahi (39).

The baby was found in good health and taken to a medical center in Mararaba for examination. The police are continuing their investigation to apprehend any accomplices involved in the crime.
