Kano Police Rescue Abducted Two-Year-Old Boy

The Kano State Police Command successfully rescued a two-year-old boy named Aliyu Muhammad, who had been abducted on April 19 from his residence in Gwammaja Quarter, Dala Local Government Area. Following the abduction, the suspects contacted the victim's family and demanded a ransom of 1,000,000 Naira.

Despite the payment, the child was not released. Upon receiving the report, Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Bakori directed the anti-kidnap squad to take immediate action.

Utilizing intelligence and operational tactics, the squad identified the suspects' hideout, leading to the arrest of three individuals: Hassan Umar, Abdullahi Hamisu, and Saminu. The child was successfully rescued unharmed and reunited with his family.

The police operation also recovered a significant portion of the ransom, amounting to 930,000 Naira. Commissioner Bakori commended the anti-kidnap squad for their professionalism and resilience in executing the operation.
