305 AFIT Graduates Achieve First-Class Honors in Kaduna

On March 26-28, 2026, the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna will hold its combined convocation ceremony, where 305 students will graduate with first-class honors. Air Vice Marshal K.

Ademuwagun disclosed that approximately 3,000 students will graduate during this event, which reflects the institute's reputation as a hub for advanced technological education. Among the graduates, 513 completed programs in aerospace engineering and aircraft engineering technology, critical disciplines for the Nigerian Air Force and the aviation industry.

The ceremony will feature various activities, including an induction ceremony and project exhibitions. Ademuwagun noted that AFIT remains a tripartite institution, combining military, polytechnic, and university education.

The expansion of the postgraduate program will see master's degrees increase to 12 and postgraduate diplomas to four in the next academic session. The event will also formally induct engineering graduates into the professional community, marking a significant milestone for the institution.
