Defence Minister Urges AFIT Graduates to Embrace Patriotism

On the occasion of the convocation ceremony at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna, Defence Minister Christoph Gwabin Musa, a retired general, addressed the graduates, urging them to embrace patriotism and engage in nation-building. He highlighted that the graduates are custodians of Nigeria's future and emphasized the need for citizenship that demands integrity and sacrifice.

Musa expressed confidence in the graduates' ability to drive national progress, noting that Nigeria is at a critical stage facing security and technological challenges. He encouraged the graduates to apply their knowledge to solve real-life problems and to reflect true patriotism through their actions.

Air Vice Marshal Adediran Ademuwagun, who also spoke at the event, described the convocation as a turning point for the graduates, marking the end of their academic training and the beginning of their professional responsibilities. He urged them to continue developing their skills and to uphold the values of AFIT, which include discipline and resilience.
