Defence Minister Urges AFIT Graduates to Embrace Patriotism

On Saturday, during the combined convocation ceremony at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna, Defence Minister Gen Christoph Musa (retd) emphasized the importance of patriotism, discipline, and innovation for the 3,000 graduates. The event saw the awarding of degrees and diplomas across various disciplines, with 2,112 graduates from accredited training programs.

Musa highlighted the significance of the occasion, stating it marks a transition from academic pursuit to national responsibility. He urged graduates to be custodians of Nigeria's future and to prioritize citizenship and service.

Air Vice Marshal K. Ademuwagun also addressed the graduates, encouraging them to acquire skills and seize opportunities for success.

The ceremony recognized outstanding students, including Oluwatimilehi Amrah Ahm Abdulkadir and another student who both achieved a CGPA of 4.99, marking them as the overall best graduates.
