34 Katsina ADC Aspirants Join People's Democratic Party

On Tuesday, 34 aspirants from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Katsina State officially defected to the People's Democratic Party (PDP). The defectors cited injustices, poor leadership, and lack of opportunities within the ADC as their reasons for leaving.

Hon. Ahmad Yusuf Jaguma spoke on behalf of the defectors, expressing their disillusionment with the ADC and their belief that the PDP offers a solution and a return to a more organized political journey.

Notably, Senator Yakubu Lado, who initially joined the ADC, returned to the PDP after failing to secure support from PDP stalwarts. Hon.

Nuraddeen Amadi Kurfi, the Katsina State PDP chairman, welcomed the defectors, stating that their return is evidence that the PDP remains a political home for those seeking justice and fairness. He assured the new members of equal treatment and reiterated that the PDP's doors are open for anyone experiencing disappointment elsewhere.
