Over 60,000 ADC Members Join APC in Kebbi State

Over 60,000 members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State. The defection was announced during an event at the Kebbi State Governor's House in Birnin Kebbi, attended by Governor Nasir Idris and APC officials.

Yahaya Sarki, speaking on behalf of the defectors, expressed their appreciation for Governor Idris's leadership and the achievements under his administration. Alhaji Aminu Mustapha, a former ADC coordinator in Jega Local Government Area and a former House of Representatives aspirant, also emphasized the decision to join APC, citing the party's commitment to the welfare of Nigerians.

Governor Idris welcomed the new members, assuring them of equal treatment and urging unity within the party as they prepare for the 2027 general elections. He highlighted his administration's achievements in education, healthcare, agriculture, water supply, rural development, and road construction.
