Over 10,000 ADC, PDP Members Join APC in Kebbi

Over 10,000 members from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP) defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State. The formal reception of these defectors occurred on Tuesday at the government house in Birnin Kebbi, presided over by Governor Nasir Idris.

During the event, Governor Idris assured the new members of equal treatment and full integration into the party. He addressed the gathering, describing the APC as an open party and urged the new members to collaborate with existing party leaders to strengthen the party ahead of future elections.

Furthermore, he called on APC leaders across the state to embrace the new members and ensure their full participation in party activities. Senator Garba Musa Maidoki and Bello Doya, representing the ADC, expressed their decision to join the APC in support of the development programs of Idris's administration, which they described as transparent and people-oriented.
