Brigadier General Friday Onu Takes Command of 35 Artillery Brigade

On Friday, Brigadier General Friday Onu officially assumed command of the 35 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, succeeding Brigadier General Godwin Nwamba. The change of command ceremony was held at Alamala Barrack in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Brigadier General Nwamba, who has been redeployed to the Army Headquarters to serve as Deputy Chief of Civil-Military Affairs, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support and cooperation he received from the officers and soldiers during his tenure. He urged them to extend the same level of cooperation to Brigadier General Onu, emphasizing the importance of knowledge of operational environments.

Brigadier General Onu commended his predecessor for the developmental strides achieved during Nwamba's tenure and called on the brigade's officers and men to remain committed to their duties and maintain the highest level of professionalism, prioritizing the welfare of soldiers and encouraging collaborative efforts to advance the brigade's objectives.
