Katsina State Recognizes 38 Health Schools, 9 Fully Accredited - Ministry of Health Efforts

The Ministry of Health in Katsina State has acknowledged 38 health schools out of almost 100 private health training institutions, with nine of them fully accredited. During a pre-budget defense session, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr.

Ahmad Tijani, disclosed the recognition and ongoing efforts to support remaining schools in meeting required standards. Malam Malik Ana, who chaired the session, expressed concerns about the closure of some schools affecting students and increasing the demand for healthcare education.

The Ministry clarified that new schools can apply for accreditation once they meet the necessary criteria.
