Troops Eliminate 38 ISWAP Terrorists in Successful Operation

On March 28, 2026, troops from the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai thwarted an attack by ISWAP terrorists at Fob Mandaragirau in Sector 2. The terrorists launched their assault in the early hours but faced heavy resistance from the troops, who engaged them in a coordinated ambush.

This resulted in the elimination of 38 terrorists, with additional bodies and weapons found scattered along Garin Mallum, Garin Gajer, and the Timbuktu Triangle. A statement from the media office at the Joint Task Force North East Operation Hadin Kai confirmed the successful operation, noting that there were no fatalities among the troops.

The troops recovered a significant cache of weapons, including 7 AK-47 rifles, 8 magazines, 4 RPG bombs, and assorted ammunition.
