4,399 Households in Kebbi Receive Food Support from KSRelief

A total of 4,399 displaced households in Kebbi State have received food support through a program facilitated by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in collaboration with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief). Zubaida Umar, representing NEMA, disclosed that this initiative is part of a broader humanitarian program aimed at assisting vulnerable households across Nigeria.

Earlier, KSRelief distributed 24,302 food baskets to vulnerable families in Kebbi, Benue, Anambra, Yobe, and Taraba states. NEMA's leadership emphasized the agency's long-standing partnership with KSRelief, which provides critical support to internally displaced persons and vulnerable groups in Kebbi State.

During the distribution event, Governor Nasir Idris thanked KSRelief and the Saudi Arabian government for their support of vulnerable Nigerians. He urged beneficiaries to use the food items properly and cautioned against selling the relief materials.
