Ogun School Launches Poetry Anthology Featuring 48 Students

Peacevil Intern Academy in Ogun State published its maiden poetry anthology featuring the literary works of 48 students. The anthology was unveiled on a Saturday at the school premises, with Ms.
Dolapo Fatoki, the head of the school, noting that the idea emerged from observing students writing down their thoughts and experiences. The anthology reflects the school's yearly theme and aims to inspire students to express themselves through poetry.
Year 10 student Oluwadamif Omojola contributed four poems, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to publish her work and aspirations to become a published author. Mr.
Adebiyi Ogunsiji, in an interview, emphasized the importance of investing in children's education and creating opportunities for creative expression. The anthology will not be published annually but every three years, allowing every student a chance to contribute.
The public launch attracted donations, including N1 million from Pastor Oluwagbemilek Adeboy of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
