EFCC to Interrogate Ex-Attorney General Malami Over $490m Abacha Loot

The EFCC is set to grill former Attorney General Abubakar Malami daily in December regarding the whereabouts of the $490 million Abacha loot. Malami is facing serious charges and is required to appear daily at the EFCC headquarters as part of the investigation.

The move comes after a mutual legal assistance request to Malami, who is currently out of the country. Malami's camp has described the investigation as a political witch hunt.

The EFCC insists that the probe is based on factual scrutiny.
