25th Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp Targets 500 Players

The Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp is set to celebrate its 25th edition from August 31 to September 5 at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, targeting 500 young players. Founded by former Nigeria international and NBA player Olumide Oyedeji, the camp has been instrumental in providing opportunities for young players to learn from experienced coaches and enhance their skills both on and off the court.

As one of Nigeria’s longest-running basketball development programs, it plays a crucial role in Oyedeji’s commitment to promoting grassroots basketball and nurturing young talents. The upcoming edition will include intensive training and mentorship sessions aimed at improving participants’ technical skills, teamwork, and understanding of the game.

Olumide Oyedeji, who serves as the third vice-president of the Nigeria Olympic Committee and president of the Nigeria Olympians Association, expressed his dedication to empowering young people through basketball and contributing to the sport's development in Nigeria, promising an exciting experience for all participants.
