Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp Celebrates 25th Edition

The Olumide Oyedeji Basketball Camp is set to celebrate its 25th edition from August 31 to September 5, 2026, at the Indoor Sports Hall, with an expected participation of over 500 young basketball players. Founded by former Nigeria international and NBA player Olumide Oyedeji, the camp has provided young athletes with opportunities to learn from experienced coaches and enhance their skills both on and off the court.

This milestone edition will feature intensive training and mentorship sessions aimed at improving participants' technical skills, teamwork, and understanding of basketball. The camp is recognized as one of the longest-running basketball development programs in Nigeria and plays a significant role in promoting grassroots basketball.

Olumide Oyedeji, who serves as the 3rd Vice President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, expressed his commitment to empowering youth through basketball and contributing to the sport's development in Nigeria. The program will also include coaching clinics and mentorship opportunities from experienced figures in the basketball community.
