American Woman Dies Mysteriously Visiting Nigerian Boyfriend in Delta

A 60-year-old American woman, Jacqueline Bolling Elton, visiting her Nigerian boyfriend in Warri, Delta State, mysteriously died after falling ill. Elton arrived in Warri on September 15, 2025, to spend time with her boyfriend, Alawode Olaide.

She suddenly took ill on September 29 and was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. The Delta State Police Command is investigating the case, with Olaide currently in custody for interrogation.

The incident has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Elton's death during her visit to Nigeria.
