Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Celebrates Nigeria's Independence

On Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State delivered a goodwill message commending the resilience and enduring spirit of Nigerians both at home and abroad. He emphasized that the anniversary is a time for celebration, reflection on the nation's journey since independence, and appreciation for the sacrifices made by past generations.

Governor Mohammed acknowledged the economic and social pressures facing families, particularly the rising cost of living, and urged citizens not to lose hope or confidence in the future. He called for solidarity, patience, and collective effort to address current challenges, stressing the importance of unity, peace, and the common good over individual differences.

The Governor encouraged civil servants, teachers, farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals, traditional and religious leaders, community leaders, and youth to uphold values such as hard work, honesty, and patriotism. As he nears the end of his tenure, he requested continued prayers for the peace, unity, stability, and development of Bauchi State and Nigeria.
