DSS Arrests Suspected Gunrunner, Seizes 832 Rounds of Ammo

The Department of State Services (DSS) has apprehended a suspected gunrunner named Barnaba Alia in Benue State, following credible intelligence regarding his plans to distribute 832 rounds of live ammunition. The operation, which occurred while Alia was receiving a consignment concealed within food items, also resulted in the recovery of two empty AK-47 magazines.

The DSS has intensified its pursuit of criminal activities and has launched sustained operations across various states as part of a nationwide effort to dismantle gun-running syndicates and curb the proliferation of illegal arms.
