APC National Convention: 8,453 Delegates Affirm Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention took place in Abuja on March 27-28, 2026, with the attendance of no fewer than 8,453 delegates from six geopolitical zones. The convention served to affirm Bola Tinubu as the party's sole presidential candidate for the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of State, highlighted the event's importance as a milestone for the party, aimed at consolidating plans and strengthening democratic values. He assured that all delegates would be accommodated and emphasized the need for unity within the party.
