85-Year-Old Community Leader Shot Dead in Edo State
On August 2, 2026, Owie, the 85-year-old Secretary of Iyowa Community, was shot dead at his home located at No. 2 Abu Street, Iguosa, off Okhunhun Road, Benin City. The attack occurred around 8:15 PM when two unidentified gunmen assaulted him.
