Fani-Kayode Confirms Tunji Disu as Acting IGP

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister and ambassador, confirmed the appointment of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Tunji Disu as the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP). This development follows the reported removal of the previous IGP by President Bola Tinubu.

Sources indicate that Tinubu requested the former IGP, Egbetokun, to step aside during a meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja on Monday.
