Abdullahi Becomes Acting Rector of Birnin Kebbi Federal Poly

Mallam Isyaku Abdullahi has officially taken on the responsibilities of acting rector at Birnin Kebbi Federal Polytechnic, succeeding Dr. Usman Sani Tunga, who retired from service.

Abdullahi, previously the deputy rector, made this transition on a Monday, expressing his commitment to uphold the academic excellence established by Tunga. He assured staff and students of his dedication to effective service delivery and good leadership, while also soliciting cooperation from stakeholders to achieve the institution's goals.

Dr. Usman Sani Tunga, who served as rector since his appointment in 2022, expressed satisfaction with the harmonious management of staff during his tenure, which concluded with a surplus of N1.744 billion in the polytechnic's account and various infrastructural developments executed under his leadership.
