Abia State Improves Primary Healthcare Delivery with New Centers Launch

Abia State Commissioner of Health, Ogbonnaya Uch, disclosed that Abia was once ranked last in primary healthcare delivery among the 36 states in Nigeria. The state recently launched a second batch of functional primary healthcare centers in Ikputu, Isialangwa North Local Government Area.

This initiative aims to enhance healthcare services for the people. Governor Alex Otti's efforts in improving the healthcare sector were commended.

Nkechi Chibuez, the supervisory councillor for health, described the project as a game-changer, transforming dilapidated structures into beacons of hope for progress in the community.
