Abiodun Inaugurates Buhari Estate Amid Amosun's Claims

Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State, inaugurated the Buhari Estate, previously known as the Three Hills Estate, asserting that his administration "rescued" it from potential forfeiture and transformed it into a 108-unit residential community. Abiodun's Special Adviser, Kayode Akinmade, stated that the estate was inherited in a largely undeveloped state, embroiled in legal disputes over contractor payments.

The Abiodun administration intervened, settling the dispute and adopting a Public-Private Partnership model for completion. The estate now features 108 four-bedroom duplexes, alongside various amenities.

Abiodun emphasized the project as a commitment to completing inherited projects. However, former Governor Amosun countered, claiming the estate was substantially developed during his administration before Abiodun took office in May 2019, accusing the current administration of misrepresenting its history.
