Abiodun's Housing Policy Transforms Ogun State Communities

Under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, Ogun State has witnessed significant housing transformation, particularly with the development of Prince Court Estate in Kobape. Initially an open bush area, it has evolved into a vibrant residential community featuring completed homes, electricity supply, a shopping mall, health centre, ATM gallery, and security post.

The estate's development has expanded through four phases, fostering growth in residential and commercial activities across Ogun's three senatorial districts. The Abiodun administration's housing policy integrates social responsibility with economic development, offering affordable housing for families and premium options for higher-income earners.

The Kemta, Idi-Aba scheme's first phase sold out quickly, indicating strong demand for decent housing. Early Prince Court homes were priced between N4.95 million and N5 million, with current market values significantly higher, illustrating the program's impact on wealth creation.

The government's approach encompasses not just housing construction but also essential services like electricity and healthcare, enhancing overall community quality.
