Dapo Abiodun Completes 108-Unit Buhari Estate in Ogun

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has successfully completed the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate in Abeokuta, transforming it into a 108-unit residential community. The project, which faced legal disputes and potential forfeiture, was inherited in an incomplete state from former governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The estate, located along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway, is set for commissioning on Tuesday by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu. The Abiodun administration resolved outstanding payment disputes with the contractor and adopted a public-private partnership model, where the state provided land and infrastructure while private developers managed construction and sales.

The estate includes 108 four-bedroom duplexes, supporting infrastructure, and amenities such as a sporting center and 24-hour power supply. Governor Abiodun emphasized the project’s significance in preserving public investments and completing inherited projects, aiming to provide quality and affordable housing.

The estate is strategically located near key facilities, enhancing its accessibility.
