Abiodun Transforms Buhari Estate into 108 Homes in Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has successfully rescued the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate in Abeokuta from potential forfeiture, transforming it into a 108-unit modern residential community. The estate, located along the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway, is set to be inaugurated on Tuesday by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

The project was inherited by the Abiodun administration in a largely undeveloped state, embroiled in legal disputes over unpaid contractor obligations. Abiodun's administration intervened, settling the dispute out of court and adopting a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for development.

The completed PMB Estate features 108 four-bedroom duplexes with modern architecture, high-quality infrastructure, and amenities such as road networks, street lighting, and 24-hour power supply. Abiodun stated that the project reflects his administration's commitment to completing inherited projects and providing quality housing.

The estate is strategically located near key facilities, enhancing access to major transportation corridors.
