Victoria Onwubiko Declares Candidacy for Obingwa West

Victoria Dibumma Onwubiko, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Abia State Structural Signage Advertising Agency, officially declared her intention to contest for the Obingwa West State House of Assembly. During her announcement, she outlined her motivations, which include delivering quality representation for the people of Obingwa West, promoting and protecting the economy, empowering women, and addressing political stakeholders' concerns.

Onwubiko emphasized that the State House of Assembly should not serve as a jamboree forum but should enact purposeful laws that ensure citizen welfare. She highlighted her extensive experience in academia, politics, and both the public and private sectors, asserting that she possesses the necessary qualifications to effectively represent the constituency.

With over 30 years of diligent work, she has acquired corporate experience and political sagacity required for the role she seeks. Onwubiko assured the crowd of her principles, character, integrity, and professional engagement.

The event was attended by local dignitaries, including Maxwell Nwadik, the Mayor of Obingwa Local Government Area, and Peter Chigozi Azubuik, the State Labour Party Chairman.
