Abuja Man Found Dead After Hotel Incident with Married Woman

A man, whose identity remains undisclosed, was found dead under the Katampe Bridge along the Kubwa Expressway after being reported missing by his family. FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Sanusi, stated that initial media reports linked the case to kidnapping and robbery.

However, investigators confirmed the deceased was the missing person. His mobile phone was missing, which became a significant lead.

The last known communication was traced to Rukayat Muhammed of Garki Area 2, Abuja, who allegedly had a romantic relationship with the deceased. They had lodged at Good Samaritan Guest House, where Muhammed reportedly discovered the man unresponsive but left with his phone instead of contacting the police.

Hotel management later found the body after failing to reach the occupants. Two hotel staff members, Ibrahim Omeiza and Kefat Bitrus, allegedly removed the body and disposed of it under the bridge.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
