Tinubu Inaugurates Rehabilitated Karu Road Network

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inaugurated the rehabilitated Karu road network in Abuja, which includes the expansion of roads at the Karu interchange and the Custom Clinic junction. This initiative is part of the administration's commitment to improving infrastructure across Nigeria.

The project aims to reduce urban congestion and enhance the quality of life for residents by significantly decreasing travel time and creating a conducive environment for business. President Tinubu emphasized that the administration's focus on infrastructure development directly impacts the lives of the people.

He urged traditional rulers, market women, and youth leaders in Karu to protect the roads from vandalism and refuse dumping. Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, supported the project, highlighting its alignment with the federal government's agenda to improve nationwide infrastructure.

The project also includes the installation of solar-powered streetlights and the construction of drainage systems to boost economic and social activities in the Karu area.
