Tinubu Inaugurates Karu Road Rehabilitation Project

President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the rehabilitation of the Karu road within the Federal Capital Territory on a Monday, aimed at easing traffic burdens and improving economic activities in the area. The project is part of the administration's commitment to providing infrastructure for the people.

Vice President Kashim Shettima represented Tinubu at the event. FCT Minister Nyesom Wike praised the completion of the road, which is expected to reduce travel time and eliminate persistent traffic gridlock, creating a more business-friendly atmosphere.

Wike acknowledged the efforts of the construction firm, Sai Indigen Contractor, for demonstrating competence and commitment to the project, which received full payment. The project, awarded in August 2025, covers various road links within Karu, enhancing access, traffic movement, drainage infrastructure, and security for properties in the area.
