Labour Party Urges INEC to Release Access Code for FCT Polls, Emphasizes Due Process

Abure, the faction national chairman of the Labour Party, has called on INEC to release the access code required for uploading the party's candidates for the upcoming FCT elections. This request was made during a quarterly consultative meeting with political party leaders in Abuja.

The newly appointed acting INEC chairman, Mai Agbamuch Mbu, assured the Labour Party delegation of reviewing their request and ensuring due process. Abure expressed confidence in INEC under Agbamuch Mbu's leadership to enhance democracy ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting aimed to engage national chairmen and secretaries of 18 registered political parties with the INEC national commission.
