Umo Eno Urges Corps Members to Embrace Service Privilege

Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno addressed corps members at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Batch Stream 2 orientation course held at the NYSC orientation camp in Nsit Atai Local Government Area. He urged the corps members to accept their postings as a rare privilege to serve their fatherland with honesty and dedication.

Eno emphasized the importance of civic responsibility in building an egalitarian and peaceful society. He acknowledged the successful completion of the orientation course and encouraged the corps members to maintain commendable conduct throughout their service year.

Eno also advised against traveling at night for safety reasons and urged corps members to respect the customs and values of the Akwa Ibom people. He expressed hope that the corps members would integrate freely into the community and contribute positively to the state, highlighting the legacy left by his predecessor in various spheres of human endeavor.
