ADC Chairmen in Adamawa Back Governorship Candidate

Chairmen of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from 21 local government areas in Adamawa State conducted a confidence vote for their governorship candidate, Amb. Omar Sulaiman, and the state chairman, Barrister Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin.

This decision was made following extensive deliberations and was announced during a press conference in Yola over the weekend. The chairmen expressed their loyalty and commitment to the party, assuring that they would work diligently with all stakeholders to deliver the party's candidate in the upcoming elections.

They emphasized the importance of transparency and fairness in the electoral process. Additionally, they dismissed rumors of internal rifts within the party, urging the people of Adamawa to disregard speculations that could undermine the party's unity as they prepare for the 2027 elections.
