Adamawa Tribunal Upholds APC's Jauro in Ganye By-Election Dispute

The Adamawa State tribunal upheld Misa Musa Jauro of the APC as the winner of the Ganye by-election, rejecting a petition by the PDP candidate, Buba Moham Joda. The tribunal ruled that the petition lacked merit and failed to provide sufficient grounds to nullify the August 2025 election results.

Jauro, who narrowly won by 129 votes, emerged victorious in the election with 15,923 votes against the PDP candidate's 15,794 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Jauro as the winner.

The tribunal's decision solidifies Jauro's position as the elected member representing Ganye constituency in the Adamawa State Assembly.
