Akor Adam Set to Join Venezia in €23 Million Transfer

Nigerian striker Akor Adam is nearing a transfer to newly promoted Serie A club Venezia. The 26-year-old forward has already agreed on personal terms with the Italian side, and Venezia has reached an agreement with Sevilla regarding the transfer fee, which is reported to be around €23 million.

Although a few final details need to be resolved, the move is progressing, especially after Venezia overcame competition from French club Olympique Marseille, which made a late attempt to hijack the transfer. Adam is committed to joining Venezia and is expected to travel to Italy this weekend to complete a medical examination.

The forward's career began in Norway with Sogndal, followed by a move to Lillestrøm, and later to Montpellier before joining Sevilla in January 2025. Adam faced challenges in La Liga but emerged as Sevilla's top scorer with 10 goals in the league last season.
