ADC Calls for INEC Investigation into Rival Faction

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to investigate a rival faction led by Nafiu Gomb, which has been accused of forgery related to unauthorized documents allegedly issued by the electoral body. The ADC dismissed claims made by the rival group regarding access to INEC's nomination portal, asserting that the leadership recognized by INEC has completed the nomination process in accordance with the Electoral Act.

Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC's National Publicity Secretary, stated that the rival group's actions are intended to create confusion and mislead the public. The ADC emphasized that INEC does not issue multiple nomination codes to any political party and challenged the rival group to provide evidence of successful access to the nomination portal.

The ADC reaffirmed its position, insisting it is not divided and urged its members and the public to disregard misleading claims.
