ADC Denies Talks with PRP, Stays Committed to Legal Battle

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially denied any discussions or negotiations with the People's Redemption Party (PRP), as stated by party spokesman Bolaji Abdullah. The ADC clarified that its leadership is not currently engaged in any political alliance talks and is fully committed to addressing legal challenges against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its agents.

The party aims to uphold the rule of law and ensure the survival of multiparty democracy in Nigeria. Abdullah emphasized that the ADC will not abandon its responsibilities despite ongoing speculation about potential defections.

The party remains focused on its legal strategies and is confident that the judiciary will uphold democratic principles. The ADC is also part of a broader coalition of opposition parties aiming to unify efforts ahead of the 2027 elections, amidst internal leadership disputes and legal challenges regarding its control and recognition by electoral authorities.
