Nafi’u Bala Denies Threat to Life Amid ADC Crisis

Nafi’u Bala, the factional chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), addressed a viral report alleging a threat to his life, labeling it as false and malicious. Bala stated that he did not grant any interviews nor authorize anyone to speak on his behalf regarding the issue.

He noted that the situation within the party had escalated due to political disagreements, but he insisted that his actions strictly followed due process. Bala referred to the resignation of the former national chairman, Ralph Nwosu, on July 2, 2025, and expressed regret over attempts to distance the leadership from the ongoing disputes, which he described as entirely untrue.

His statements were made in a release on a Sunday, emphasizing the integrity of his position and the need for accurate representation of events within the party.
