ADC Nominates Ex-APC Aspirant Against Senator Ndume

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the candidacy of a former All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant to challenge Ali Ndume, the current senator representing Borno South. Ndume is aiming for a fifth term in office.

The ADC's decision comes after a screening process that included various candidates, including Durkwa and Fugu Ibrahim Babagana Zanna, who were also aspirants for the governorship ticket. Moham Umar Bolori, the ADC's organizing secretary, stated that Durkwa emerged as the consensus choice for the party.

The ADC aims to unify its efforts to enhance electoral success in southern Borno State, despite previous arrangements for a consensus not working out among the gubernatorial aspirants.
