ADC Leaders Mobilize Against INEC's Decision in Otukpo

On April 2, 2026, leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Otukpo expressed strong opposition to the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) decision to withdraw recognition of the party's leadership, which they described as politically motivated. Senator David Mark labeled the action unacceptable, accusing INEC of aligning with the ruling party to weaken opposition voices and push Nigeria towards a one-party system.
