ADC's Adegoke Aims for Oyo Governorship Win in 2027

Olooye Gboyega Adegoke, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Oyo State, stated on Monday that the party is committed to winning the 2027 governorship election. During the inauguration of the Solutions Campaign Council at the party's campaign office in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Adegoke emphasized the importance of effective oversight of local governments to optimize grassroots service delivery.

He expressed confidence in the ADC's robust structure across the 351 wards in Oyo State and clarified his position as the authentic governorship candidate amidst internal party disputes. Adegoke mentioned ongoing reconciliation efforts with the faction led by Hon. Yinka Olona.

He outlined plans to combat poverty through sustainable programs in agriculture, education, and industrialization, and proposed establishing a solar farm in the Oke-Ogun area for economic development. The campaign council, led by Hon. Tayo Kesha, will collaborate with stakeholders to achieve the party's objectives, and Adegoke confirmed that all candidates from the party's primaries have been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
