ADC's Adegoke Claims Superiority Among Oyo Candidates

Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, the governorship candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), asserted his superiority over candidates from the Allied People’s Movement (APM) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) during an interview on Arise News Television's “The Morning Show.” He criticized the APM candidate as an extension of the current government and highlighted issues of godfatherism associated with the APC candidate. Adegoke proposed a rail line project from Moniya in Ibadan to Saki in the Oke Ogun area to facilitate the transport of agricultural produce, emphasizing that Oke Ogun is the food basket of Oyo State.

He pledged to support farmers and outlined his economic agenda, encapsulated in his slogan “Solutions 2027,” which includes security, agricultural development, job creation, urban renewal, health and education reforms, and infrastructure development. Adegoke aims to implement new technologies in government operations and enhance socio-economic development if elected in 2027.
