ADC Sues Justice Tsoho Over Court Order Disobedience

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commenced legal proceedings against Justice John Tsoho, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court (FHC), for alleged disobedience to court orders. The suit, filed on June 4, challenges the actions of Tsoho and Justice Peter Lifu in relation to a case involving Senator David Mark.

The ADC claims that Tsoho has shown a manifest bias against the party by disregarding a Supreme Court order that required the continuation of a pending case. The ADC's legal representative, Nkemakolam Ukandu, stated that the actions of the judges have undermined the integrity of the judiciary.

The case, referenced as FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025, has been adjourned sine die pending the service of a letter to the parties involved. The ADC has expressed concerns over the potential influence of political interests, particularly regarding Nyesom Wike, on the judicial process.
