ADC Announces Kaduna Senatorial Candidates for 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) conducted its primary elections in Kaduna State, announcing its senatorial candidates for the 2027 general elections. Mr.

Ladan Salihu, Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, revealed the results at a press conference in Kaduna on Sunday. The party's primaries were deemed successful and reflective of its commitment to internal democracy and transparency.

For the Kaduna North senatorial district, Ibrahim Sidi Bamal was declared the winner with 83,070 votes in an uncontested race. In the Kaduna Central district, Abdullahi Chiromawa announced Sen.

Lawal Adamu Usman as the winner with 47,488 votes, also unopposed. Murtala Abubakar was declared the winner for the Kaduna South district, securing 28,378 votes against Mr.

Aminchi Abu, who received 5,299 votes. Salihu expressed confidence that these candidates would enhance the party's prospects in the upcoming elections.
