ADC Confirms Senatorial Candidates for 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State has officially affirmed its senatorial candidates for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Jordan Faruk Malami has been selected to represent the Sokoto South Senatorial District.

For the Sokoto East Senatorial District, Hassan Muhammad Rabbah has been confirmed, while Mani Maishinko Katami will contest for the Sokoto North Senatorial District. Katami is preparing to run against the incumbent senator, Aliyu Wamakko, a former governor of Sokoto State.

The ADC has expressed its commitment to providing alternative leadership and ensuring effective representation for the people of Sokoto. The party's leadership has received appreciation for their support and confidence in the candidates.

Additionally, Ibrahim Lamido, the current senator representing Sokoto East, has previously announced that he will not seek re-election.
