ADC Targets APC's Exit in Kwara by 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced its intention to end the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in Kwara State during the 2027 general elections. This declaration was made during a rally in Ilorin, where party supporters participated in a 13-kilometre road walk, showcasing the ADC's growing popularity.

Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, stated that the enthusiasm at the rally reflects Kwarans' desire for a new political direction, emphasizing that the state has not fulfilled the aspirations of the 2019 ‘Otoge’ movement. Abdullahi compared the current political landscape to a journey, stating that while they left the PDP (referred to as Egypt) eight years ago, they are still in the wilderness under the APC.

He expressed confidence that dissatisfaction with both the APC and the PDP would lead to ADC's electoral success in 2027. Abdullahi also mentioned that the ADC is open to welcoming politicians from other parties, provided they adhere to the ADC's principles.
