Over 1000 Expected at Òyó State Political Summit 2026

The Emerging Political Leaders Summit 2026 is set to take place at the Ibadan Civic Center in Òyó State from August 24 to 25, 2026, with over 1000 participants expected. The summit, themed “Bridging the Gap, Uniting Political Strength, and Mobilising Emerging Leaders for 2027,” aims to serve as a strategic platform for influential emerging political leaders, stakeholders from various political parties, and grassroots actors ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, will be the Chief Facilitator, discussing “Fiscal Renewal, Revenue Mobilisation, and the Economic Future of Òyó State.” Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, will be the Special Guest of Honour, while Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will deliver the keynote address on coalition-building and political alignment.

Other speakers include Comrade Ayodele Wisdom Olawande, Mr. Dayo Israel, and Barrister Ismael Ahmed, focusing on youth mobilization, grassroots support, and economic reforms.
