Ezeakor and Adegoke Share Men's 100m Title in Ibadan

At the MTN Championship Grand Final held in Ibadan, Ezeakor and Adegoke delivered a thrilling performance in the Men's 100m final, both finishing with a time of 10.15 seconds, thus sharing the title. This race marked a significant moment as both athletes achieved personal bests, with Tejiri Godwin setting the tone earlier with a blistering 10.29 seconds in the heats.

In the Women's 100m, Maria Thompson Omokwe claimed the title with a personal best of 11.26 seconds, showcasing consistent excellence throughout the competition. She had previously recorded a personal best of 11.35 seconds in the semi-finals.

Janet Sundai finished second with a personal best of 11.66 seconds, while Omoyemi Lydia Ajayi and Bibilomo Dip also achieved lifetime bests. In the junior categories, Abdulrahman Adewal Jimoh emerged victorious in the Men's 100m with a personal best of 10.57 seconds.
